MAKE UP!


So the reason I 've been MIA almost a month right at the beginning of  my blogging attempts has been EXAMS! I was busy and anxious waiting for the results and researching alternative options, plan Bs, plan Cs and so on! So yesterday the results finally came in and I 'm happy to announce that I got into my first "school of choice"... Not to bore you with my sad-turned happy story, currrently I 'm on the process of PARTYING!
All my friends were successful and we are thrilled and arranging various ways to celebrate! We went night- swimming, we went out on shopping sprees and dinner and tomorrow we re going CLUBBING!
And here we go with the problems!

• What oufit do I choose?
• What shoes do I pair it with?
• What bag?
• Do I also get flats?                                                                                                                                             which takes me back to...
• What bag?
• What make up look do I choose?
• What hair style do I choose?

Oh! I'm telling you it's almost not worth it! Almost!
So when you re in a club all you pretty much do is sweat! You 're drinking, you re laughing, you 're dancing, your flirting, you 're crowded YOU SWEAT!
Therefore you need a make up look that's gonna last, and a hair style that will be flattering yet convinient and safe!

Here is everything I will be wearing tomorrow:

A more romantic twist of the little black dress, in an one shoulder- flower gold studded lapel version,  matched with a black gold studded clutch, black earrings- I choose studs because I find it hard to dance wearing long eearrings but it's up to you!- and finally a terqoise pair of  high heels to make a difference from all the black! I will not wear any other accessories such as bracelets cause again I find it hard to dance, in fear they'll fall out, and also because they may get caught up in somebody else's clothes as I try to make my way through the crowd and that's not fun!
As for my make up I always use a face and eyelid primer in such occasions to keep my make up in place all night and I plan to recreate the exact make up look in the photo above... I 'll also use waterproof mascara and smudge proof eyeliner and pencil liner and will wear false eyelashes that I bought from Inglot.
As for my hair I 'll curle it and wear it up in a pony tail!

Clothes for back to school! (ft Doctor Who)

So it's already August and many are anxious about what to wear for back to school! And that's what we 'll be discussing at this post!
At my school you can wear pretty much anything you want but I think wearing shorts with your bottom hanging out, as many girls seem to do, is at least inappropriate! Tank tops, strapless tops and backless tops are also a bit extravagant for school, in my opinion!
Therefore, I ve featured cute tops that have an edge to them or simple tops in bright fun summer colours! Cause as we all know bright COLOURS have been a must this summer season! Therefore you need to find a way to incorporate the clothes you bought this summer into your school-begining wardrobe!
Top #1 has a nice style and the stars remind me of the days ALL-STAR were a big trend here and everyone was wearing star-tops and necklaces... I didn't like it back then and I m not sure I like it now, hawever this top could really work with any pair of jeans you might or if you want to take it further you could wear it with a pair of coloured jeans like D, E ,F ,G. C would also work but it's actually work-out pants for those of you that feel like exercising!

The same thing goes for top #5 which is a plain black top with an interesting sleeve and back design, #6 which is a plain bright orange top, a colour much seen in the ruways for this season and #2 which is a DISNEY print sweater, an addiction of mine since for ever!                                                                                 
Top #7 is a stamp T-shirt from Christmas nightmare which is bound to turn a few heads in the classroom! Since it's grey it works with any colour you want to pair it with except for brown!
Top #8 is unique and can a only work for really thin girls since it adds a lot volume on the hips and most of us really don't need that! But who can resist that brautiful purplr colour?
Tops #3, #4 are cropped tops which have been really in this season! However if you don't want to show too much skin you could wear them with high-waisted pants or shorts
which really make your legs look longer!

And last but not least my personal favourite Top #9 which is actually a loose wide scoop Doctor Who top of the exploding TARDIS as allegedly painted by Van Gogh himself!
If you knew me in person you 'd know that these too are my all time-obsessions, so I had to buy this shirt! And I m not sure whether I 'll wear it or just keep it as a momento! Obviously I ll wewar it but I will take great care of it!

FACEMASK FOR CLEAR SKIN!

       Black heads, large pores or even worse acne and acne scaring are only a few of the skin problems that bother women of all ages! But it's especially hard for us to cope during the summer when the sweat and the heat and the sun exposure and the salt of the sea or the chlorium from the pool can cause massive problemsand change our skin condition!Dry skin might get oilierand vice versawhich means that the cleansers, moisturisers and any other skincare products yoou may use will no longer be any good for you! So what do you do to make your skin right? FACEMASK! But not just any mask! ASPIRIN facemask can do wonders for all types of skin!

RECIPE

All you need to do is take 15 uncoated tablets of aspirin and ground it!

• if you have oily/combination skin you need add a couple od drops of lemon-juice until you get a thick paste! It should almost feel like a scrub!

• if you have dry skin you need to add extra virgin olive oil which has nurishing properties (all any kind of oil you like) andmake it into a thick paste!

• if you have normal skin or want to target spots and black heads exclusively you can add only water and it will still work fine!
• You leave it on for 10-15 minutes and them you remove gently with hot water as you would a scrub!

 WARNING

Many people are allergic to aspirin and most of the time they don't even know it! Beware and get advice from a doctor (allergiologist-dermatologist) forehand! The allergic reaction might actually cause death! Alsp I am not a liscenced beautician nor a doctor obviously. I m only saying what has been working for me!

SUMMER STYLIST: MAKE A STATEMENT!

So what do you do when you need your outfit to stand out? When you don't want to be just pretty but bold, daring! Then you choose your clothes and your accessories wisely!
Statement pieces have neeb around for a while whether we 're talking clothing, or accessories such as hats and rings and bracelets and necklaces! Or even shoes!
There are so many ways to spice up your outfits! And remeber that statement does not necessarily mean extravagant! Or does it?

These are just some ideas to make your outfits stand out!

ps: My obsessions from this set are: The H&M spikey clutch that I ve been taking with me almost every single night out during the winter, the Doctor Who blouse which I ve ordered and I 'm anxious to wear (The exploding TARDIS inspired by Vincent Van Gough). The amazing watch I m currently really loving as well given that serves as a stylist cuff as well! Last but not least I have been loving the Pins and Needles Jeweled-Collar Blouse that I first saw Aria wearing in the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars(s03e08)! At first I was a bit sceptical about it however I wear it with a lacey cami underneath and skinny jeans-coloured jeans or shorts to make it more modern, and black pumps to still keep it feminine-not girly.

It's fairly known, the complex situation women have with shoes! We see them, we want them, we need them! Or don't we? How many shoes do we really need?

The basic shoes a shoe junkie needs to survive! Or in other words two shoe alternatives for every occasion!

MORNING:

In the summer what you're propably gonna need during the morning times is a good pair of flipflops!

Now that can be regular fliflops that you can wear to the beach like these or a bit more dressy for a shoppong spree or a busy day out like these:

AFTERNOON:

Whether you want to walk the dog or go for a run you will definutelly need  a pair of sneekers! The most universal pair of tennis shoes out there is in my opinion All star Converse! They come in fun colouts and they are really flattering to one's foot and work with a variety of outfits both for men and women! Obviously these are not running shoes but it's the summer (for any season really) and more stylish alternative to regular sneekers! Obviously you can wear them in other occasions such as for every day choirs- that's completely up to you! Also this type of shoe seems to be very popular among guys all over since they will wear them day to night, from the beach to an event! My favourites are

EVENING:

Going out in the evening is a tricky business when it comes to clothing, especially in the summer when you need to be comfortable in your clothes! The hot weather turns out to be the enemy making it insufferable to wear a nice pair of shoes! Your toes get slippery and your feet hurt more so high heels are a risk! But if you have to wear them be smart about it! Do choose something that offers support such as strappy sandals that keel the foot in it's place and therefore are more stable like these:

And since two pairs of shoes are simply not snough I present you with the all day shoes!
